Community Links and Human Empowerment Initiative conducted her annual MID-YEAR PERFORMANCE REVIEW which is an important part of the overall employee performance management process. This was conducted to help produce discussions in a fundamental way in which managers can support a culture of ongoing feedback and recognition and also achieve better developmental results.
CLHEI’s annual mid-year review discussions have over the years proven to be effective and helped to facilitate and solidify a positive employee, management and volunteers relationship which is a key driver of inter-personal relationship within the working environment. Goals and achievements within the first half of the year was discussed, challenges faced by staff in the course of discharging their duties, priorities set, resources and support needed to accomplish goals before the end of the year, knowledge was gained and capabilities enhanced in various capacities. Positive and negative feedback is indeed a critical element of effective management, looking forward to the end of year retreat in the coming months.
